Personal Lines Team Leader

Job Description:

  • Manage the day to day operations of the Personal Lines team
  • Provide training, coaching and assistance to team members
  • Auditing of internal processes, workflows and procedures and taking corrective action when necessary
  • Ensure corporate service standards being met
  • Ensure the team members are meeting their targets
  • Review and analyze reports
  • Conduct and facilitate team meetings
  • Review Insurance Company bulletins and communicate updates to team members
  • Meeting with Insurance Company representatives
  • Assist with special projects and tasks assigned by Senior Management team

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Level 2 General Insurance License
  • CAIB and/or CIP Designation
  • 5+ Years of Personal Lines Broker experience
  • 5+ Years of experience as a team leader, trainer or manager
  • Extensive Insurance company product and portal knowledge (Intact, Aviva, Economical, Wawanesa,)
  • Experience with the Applied System (TAM)
  • Experience with the Epic System an asset
  • Well organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
