Personal Lines Broker Assistant (Broker Service Unit)

Job Duties:

  • Reviewing Final Notice and NSF Payment notifications sent to clients
  • Receiving and processing payments from clients
  • Reviewing Company Memos
  • Contacting Clients and Company Underwriters for information
  • Accessing Company Portals for various items
  • Completing Home Evaluations (ITVs)
  • Sending Confirmations of Insurance to lienholders/lessors
  • Requesting Claims Experience Letters
  • Requesting Vehicle Inspection Reports
  • Premium Increase Investigation
  • Processing Change Requests and New Business applications on Insurance Company Portals
  • Issuing Pink Cards
  • Reviewing Required Coverages for New Business, Renewals and Endorsements
  • Relief Reception
  • Other Administrative Duties using Microsoft products (Word/Excel) and Data Entry

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Level 1 General Insurance License
  • Minimum 2 years of Personal Lines Brokerage Experience
  • Experience with computer systems Agency Manger (TAM) and Epic an asset
  • Experience with Insurance Company Portals an asset
  • Well organized
  • Eager to learn
  • Able to work well in a team environment and independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
