Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Description:

  • Manage a book of business – Focus on Retention, Growth, Account Development  
  • Conducting Renewal Reviews
  • Assisting customers with their daily insurance needs by phone, in person and by email
  • Rewriting and Reinstating policies when required
  • Provide quotes and new policies to customers
  • Using various company portals on a day to day basis for information, file reviews and processing
  • Reviewing Mono-line Lists – premium increase reviews, contacting clients
  • Knowledge of each Insurance Company’s products, endorsements, packages and payment plans
  • Accountable to monthly, quarterly and annual targets

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Level 1 or 2 General Insurance License
  • Minimum 3 Years of Personal Lines Broker experience
  • Sales focused
  • Experience with the Applied Systems (TAM), Epic and Compu Quote an asset
  • Experience with major Insurance Company markets and portals an asset
  • Well organized
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Eager to learn
  • Structured and disciplined following workflows and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptable to change
