Commercial Lines Broker Assistant

Job Duties:
- Issuing Certificates of Insurance
- Quote and Proposal Assistance
- Receiving and processing payments from clients
- Reviewing Company Memos
- Contacting Clients and Company Underwriters for information
- Accessing Company Portals for various items
- Reporting Claims to Insurance Companies
- Completing Home Evaluations (ITVs)
- Reviewing Final Notice and NSF Payment notifications sent to clients
- Reviewing Broker Renewal Expiry Lists
- Sending Confirmations of Insurance to lienholders/lessors
- Requesting Claims Experience Letters
- Requesting Vehicle Inspection Reports
- Premium Increase Investigation
- Processing Change Requests
- Issuing Pink Cards
- Invoicing New Business, Renewals and Endorsements
- Assisting the Commercial Lines Team with customer service calls, emails and client visits
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Level 1 or Level 2 General Insurance License
- Minimum 2-3 years of Commercial Lines Experience
- Experience with the EPIC Computer system an asset
- Experience with Transportation accounts an asset
- Well organized
- Able to work well in a team environment and independently
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Adaptable to change
