All of us at Bow Valley Insurance would like to take this time to send our thoughts and sympathies to all those across Alberta who have been affected by floods of last week. The damage caused is hard to believe. Currently, 18 communities remain under a state of emergency, and BMO analysts have estimated damages could end up between $3-billion and $5-billion (and potentially much higher).
Flood waters reached unprecedented levels, and officials are saying that this event could not have been predicted. There was more rain over a larger area for a longer period of time than could have ever been anticipated.

Thank You to Alberta’s Emergency Response Teams
Bow Valley Insurance would like to send a special thanks to all of the emergency workers, technicians and clean-up teams working very long hours in extremely dangerous conditions to help Calgary and Alberta rebuild. Mostly, we’d like to thank everybody for their patience, fortitude and willingness to help during this stressful time.
