On 16 Ave/AB-1 W/Trans-Canada Hwy, continue to AB-1 W/Trans-Canada Hwy, take the Alberta 93 ramp toward Jasper/Rocky Mountain House, and merge onto Icefields Pkwy/AB-93 N. Stay right to stay on Icefields Pkwy/AB-93 N and continue onto Connaught Drive. Make a U-turn at Balsam Ave.

Bow Valley Trail to Canmore

Located about an hour West of Calgary near Banff National Park, Canmore is nestled in the Rockies along the banks of the Bow River. Find things to do in Canmore.

Take 16 Ave/AB-1 W/Trans-Canada Hwy and continue about 95 kilometers to Exit 91 and head toward Canmore, merge onto Bow Valley Trail/AB-1A W. Go straight at the roundabout to continue on Bow Valley Trail/AB-1A W.

In Banff, head south on Banff Ave and turn right onto Caribou Street. Make a right on Lynx and continue onto Mount Norquay Road. Turn left onto the AB-1/Trans Canada Highway ramp toward Lake Louise. Merge onto AB-1 W/Trans-Canada Hwy, continue about 50 kilometers, and take the Bow Valley Parkway exit toward Lake Louise/Promenade de la vallée Bow. Then turn left onto Bow Valley Parkway and continue to Lake Louise.

Drumheller Through the Farmland

Farmland runs aren’t for everyone but at harvest time, the smells are extraordinary and heading into Drumheller and the Red Deer River Valley is a truly unique ride. Located amid the Alberta Badlands and its amazing scenery, the Dinosaur Trail  is a 48 kilometer circular route beginning and ending in the town of Drumheller. Very popular with bikers, along the trail, see the Tyrrell Museum, stop at Horseshoe Canyon Lookout, and be sure to get off and wander around!

Go north on Macleod Trail SE, turn right on 5 Ave SE E, and continue onto Memorial Dr NE. In about 2 kilometers, stay right to merge onto Deerfoot Trail/AB-2 N. Follow AB-2 N for about 29 kilometers, and exit at Airdrie/Irricana. Stay right at the fork, follow the signs for Industrial Area/Alberta 567 E/East Airdrie, and merge onto AB-567 E. After 29 kilometers turn left on AB-9 E. Continue 11 kilometers, turn right to stay on AB-9 E, and follow the signs to Drumheller.
