Personal Lines Account manager

Job Description:

  • Manage a Personal Lines Book of Business
  • Conducting renewal reviews with insureds
  • Developing mono line accounts into multi-line accounts
  • Providing quotes and writing new business
  • Making changes to insureds policies as per their requests
  • Using various insurance company portals on a day to day basis for information, processing endorsements, payments etc.
  • Liaison with insurance company underwriters and other personnel

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Level 1 or 2 General Insurance License
  • Minimum 3 Years of Personal Lines Broker experience
  • Experience with the Applied Systems (TAM) and Compu Quote
  • Experience with Intact (Savers), Aviva, Economical, Wawanesa portals an asset
  • Knowledge of insurance companies underwriting guidelines
  • Well organized
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptable to change
