Personal Lines Account Manager (Service Team)

Job Description:

  • Assist our Personal Lines Department
  • Cross Selling additional lines of business – Account Development
  • Assisting customers with their daily insurance needs by phone, in person and by email
  • Rewriting and Reinstating policies when required
  • Provide quotes and new policies to customers
  • Using various company portals on a day to day basis for information, file reviews and processing
  • Reviewing Mono-line and Renewal Lists – premium increase reviews, contacting clients
  • Abeyance/Follow Up assistance – reviewing requests, contacting clients, contacting Underwriters
  • Knowledge of each Insurance Company’s products, endorsements, packages and payment plans

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Level 1 or 2 General Insurance License
  • Minimum 3 Years of Personal Lines Broker experience
  • Experience with the Applied Systems (TAM) and Compu Quote
  • Experience with Intact (Savers), Aviva, Economical, Wawanesa portals an asset
  • Well organized
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptable to change
